Scholarships for 2026

Our industry is evolving, and the members of our chapter reflect a positive vision of its future through innovation and adaptability. To support our members and give back to the industry, the GBTA Austin Chapter offers educational opportunities for those who contribute to the chapter and the business travel community.

Educational scholarships for 2026 will open for applications in early January, including details on deadlines and award amounts to help with planning. Below are the scholarships available:

2026 Scholarship Opportunities

• Texas Education Day (TED)
• Event Date: April 16 - 17, 2026, in San Antonio, TX
• Application Opens: Jan. 15, 2026
• Application Deadline: Jan. 29, 2026

• GBTA Convention Scholarship
• Event Date: Aug. 3 - 5, 2026, in Chicago, IL
• Application Opens: Feb. 2, 2026
• Application Deadline: Feb. 17, 2026

• Open Education Scholarship
  • Can be applied toward any industry education or conference, including but not limited to:
    • GBTA education classes – GTP, GLP, CCET etc.
    • ICON Conference
    • Fusion Conference
    • Ladders Program
    • Texas Women’s conference
    • WinIT
  • Individual scholarships awarded up to $1,500
  • Application Opens: Jan. 12, 2026
  • Application Deadline: Summer 2026 or until funds have been awarded
