Membership Committee
The primary role of the Membership Committee is to recruit and retain GBTA-Austin members.
· Develop and implement an action plan for increasing and retaining membership, with a primary emphasis on increasing Direct (Buyer) membership
· Develop new member welcome plan and materials
· Introduce and recognize new members at each monthly meeting
· Committee members serve as “Ambassadors” for new members welcoming at each meeting & sitting with them at luncheons. One committee member with one board member hosts each table at monthly luncheons
· Develop creative events, specifically for membership networking and communication, on a quarterly basis.
· One member of the committee will participate in the annual Tri-Board meeting to bring back creative ideas.
· Manage the annual membership renewal process
· All committee members are committed to consistently attending monthly GBTA-Austin meetings
